If you are doing business in Finland, you can apply for a resident permit based on Entrepreneurship.

An entrepreneur is a person with the managerial position in the company and with a minimum 30% of the company shares.

Why business immigration to Finland?

• Finland accepts any legal business, and it can become the basis for obtaining a resident permit;
• There is no requirement for the amount of investment: open a company with a minimum authorized capital and submit documents - the main thing is that the business operates profitable and support itself and you as an employee;
• Finland does not require large turnover in the company: pay the salary to the director-applicant for a residence permit, cover operating expenses, pay taxes and draw up accounting reports - that's enough;
• You can be the only employee in your company.

What is the main basis for receiving a resident permit based on entrepreneurship?

There are following criterias that you need to take in consideration while applying for a resident permit
1- You have your business registered in Finland
2- Your business is active and operations occurs in Finland
3- Your business has profitable conditions for operations

All entrepreneurs applications are evaluated by ELY center (Center of Economic Development of Finland), where their principal task is to be sure that your business has profitable conditions for operation and that by that operations you can secure your livelihood in the country.

How to apply for a permit?
You can either apply from Finland or your closest Finnish Embassy, the application is electronic.
